In the spirit of Flash fiction, participants had to write a short story in one page, and the objective was to make it a scary story in the spirit of gentle terror inspired by Halloween. With Father Stephen as a difficult judge to frighten, a Form IV student won for his longer piece of eerie storytelling (including a tombstone illustration), while a Form III student was recognized for his extremely short but nonetheless unsettling story.
