Cistercian Community Service
Big Brothers
Big
Brothers is a
student-initiated
organization consisting
of students in Form VII
who are willing to
commit themselves to
providing positive
leadership for students
in Form IV.
The Big Brothers show by
their actions and
words the proper
attitudes students
should take
towards God,
toward schoolwork and
learning,
toward property,
toward classmates and
adults,
toward girls, and
toward their bodies.
They also serve
as friendly advisors to
their little brothers
and take a sincere
interest in their lives.
Last, but not least,
they try to promote a
sense of school pride.
The Big Brothers
must be willing to
commit themselves
to pray for their little
brothers,
to attend regular
meetings with their
little brothers, and
to participate
occasionally in after
school or on weekends
for joint community
service/recreational
activities.
More
than 2
unexcused absences
and/or a conduct grade
less than a B-
(from the Form Master or
an academic course) can
result in dismissal from
the program.
