2018 Summer Programs

The Cistercian Way

Cistercian Preparatory School has been forming boys academically, spiritually, and athletically for over 50 years relying on one thousand years of Cistercian tradition.  This focus on the full human development of our boys does not change for our Summer Programs which are staffed by our regular faculty and coaches with help from our own alumni.

We are committed to small class sizes during the academic year for the good our students; it is our hope that we can share the rich Cistercian tradition with a broader community through our Summer Programs.  All of our Summer Programs are open to boys of the appropriate ages even if they attend school elsewhere

Summer Programs can be divided into three main sections, Summer Prep, Summer Rec, and Summer Sport.  While the school maintains distinctions among these three programs, it is in combining them that your sons will benefit the most from our Summer Programs.

Summer Rec

The camp is a whirlwind of hands on science, games, Mass, and activities designed to engage enthusiastic boys in grades 3-6.

Summer Prep

Our academic classes range from math, English, and Latin to flight, artillery, and computer programmingand are taught by Cistercian’s own faculty and alumni.

Summer Sport

Athletes in grades 6-12 develop team and individual skills in our athletic clinics run by our own varsity coaches.  Sport specific as well as strength and fitness courses are offered for various ages.
