Community Service at Cistercian

Community Service Activities

Community Service is an important component at Cistercian. Past projects have included: North Texas Special Olympics Bowling Tournament, Special Olympics Thanksgiving Food Drive, and many others.  Projects for the 2011-12 school year will be selected by CPS students elected to the Community Service council.

The Down Syndrome Guild Dance has become a special tradition.  Dates for the upcoming school year are:

• Saturday, November 5, 2011
• Saturday, March 24, 2012

The Austin Street Shelter needs our help. On Saturday, November 26, there will be three shifts available for volunteers to help make/distribute food for the homeless at St. Francis Anglican Church in Dallas. For complete information, please click here.

The 2011 Cistercian Christmas Drive will take place December 7-9. Individual bags will be passed out on Monday, November 21. Each Form is asked to bring particular items. For details, please click here.
