Individual Volunteer Opportunities:

Dallas Zoo and Dallas Aquarium at Fair Park
Looking for teens between 14 and 20 years of age to participate in their Junior Camp Counselor program.  As a JCC, one would help campers in Kindergarten through Grade 5 with a variety of games, crafts, activities and tours.  Also, there will be opportunities to handle some the various animals.  The program runs Monday through Friday, 8:15 am-3:30 pm, June 13-July 29.  For more info, contact Fr. Youth for Life Pro-Life Retreat and Boot Camp will be held June 3-10 at the University of Dallas in Riving.  The schedule includes speakers on the Theology of the Body, Capital Punishment, Abortion, Sidewalk Counseling, etc.  In addition to talks, there will be community service work at area crisis pregnancy centers, praying at abortion centers, and Eucharistic Adoration with the band Remnant.  All youth 14 and up are invited to participate.  Early registration is $70 for the weekend retreat and $325 for the week long Boot-Camp.  Please contact Jacquelyn Smith, Youth for Life Director at 14-826-0033 or jsmith@prolifedallas.org.
