Athletics play an important role in our sons’ education at Cistercian. The Booster Club's goal is to assist the Athletic Department in training our boys to face challenges, to push their limitations and to experience the rewards of teamwork. The Booster club coordinates the parents' efforts in enhancing and supporting this aspect of our sons' Cistercian experience throughout the athletic season.

You are likely aware the Booster Club coordinates and mans the concession stands throughout the year. Perhaps more importantly, the Booster Club funds improvements and new equipment. This past year the Booster Club purchased new Soccer Bleachers, Varsity Basketball Uniforms, Press Box Equipment, an Exercise Bike, and Letter Jackets/Patches. The Booster Club also funds the Cheerleading Coach and various Team Meals. Your contribution of time and money help to improve the athletic experience for our sons and provide service opportunities to encourage families to join in the support of our teams.

Our athletic year kicked off Friday, August 10th with the Annual Black/White football scrimmage followed by the Spirit/Kickoff dinner! The football season concludes with the Homecoming game on Friday, October 26th. This year’s Homecoming dinner will be catered by North Main Barbeque.

The dinner will be served from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The cost of the dinner is $10 for adults/$5 for children. Please plan to attend and celebrate Homecoming with current Hawk families and alumni. Booster club activities continue with the Cistercian Tip-Off Classic basketball tournament. The tournament runs from Thursday, November 15th through Saturday, November 17th. All games will be played at Cistercian.

Participation is the key to the Booster Club’s success. Regardless of Form, we encourage everyone to join the Booster Club. There’s still time as you can download the attached membership/interest form and return it along with your membership payment. You may also register and pay your membership online – just follow the links at the top of this page! Please note on the form any time commitments you can make in volunteering to help for athletic events throughout the year.
