  • Literary Club Spring Meeting
    Tuesday, April 18, 7:00 p.m.--8:30 p.m.

Kurt Vonnegut's novel, Breakfast of Champions, has been chosen for this spring's book, and we'll have an opportunity to gather in the new Abbey Retreat House for our meeting! Join Bruce Stevenson '89 and Fr. Philip Lastimosa '00 for light refreshments and a grand discussion.

"In Breakfast of Champions, one of Kurt Vonnegut's most beloved characters, the aging writer Kilgore Trout, finds to his horror that a Midwest car dealer is taking his fiction as truth. What follows is murderously funny satire, as Vonnegut looks at war, sex, racism, success, politics, and pollution in America and reminds us how to see the truth." (Amazon)
